1000 Greenpeace supporters are planning to walk the circumference of the earth in a month. The aim is to cover 25 miles each. Just to make it more of a challenge for myself I'm going to do 100 miles!

I know times are tough so please don't feel you have to donate lots. If everyone gives a couple of quid then that will still add up.

Why am I doing this? Simple, I care about the planet and my children's futures. If the government won't take the issue seriously, then we're relying on charities like Greenpeace to make a difference.
