Story

On March 17th 2024, I will be running the Liverpool half marathon (13.1 miles) and raising awareness and funds for Paul’s Place, a suicide bereavement support service (operated by Liverpool based registered charity, Beacon Counselling Trust). The service is unique, is not replicated anywhere else throughout the whole of the UK and is accessible to Merseyside residents (aged 16+) who have been bereaved by suicide. Since Paul’s Place (BCT)  receives no Government or NHS funding whatsoever, it is reliant on fundraising events, donations and charitable grants. With this in mind, please give whatever you can and where possible, if you are a UK taxpayer, please tick the gift aid box too; as this increases your donation by a further 25%, at no extra cost to you. For more information about the service please click on this link : Paul’s Place Suicide Bereavement Support Programme - Beacon Counselling Trust to their website.

There is also a video link below giving you more information about the service..
