Story

For my 60th birthday in 2020 I wanted to do something BIG for myself and others. I signed up to do the Dalai Lama Trek in aid of St Kentigern Hospice. Unfortunately Covid hit and we weren't able to do the trek. Now, "when I'm 64..." I'm taking three day to walk 67km of the Camino De Santiago in aid of the hospice.

At St Kentigern Hospice we provide palliative care for people with life limiting illness. Our aim is to enhance the quality of life of our patients, enabling them to live well with their condition. We achieve this by providing specialist care in our state of art 12 bedded inpatient unit. Each patient receives tailored care to their needs which is achieved through our wide range of therapies on offer to improve their quality of life and offering their families support as well.
