‘Better Care, Healthier Lives’. We are the charity that exists to support St George’s hospitals and the communities they serve. Every day, our work makes a real difference to patients, their families and friends and the staff who care for them.

If you’ve ever struggled through the night as a patient in hospital you’ll have some idea how lonely and long it can feel. Staff can be amazing yet trying to get to sleep can seem impossible.

This is especially true at Christmas when so many patients long to be with loved ones and families. For those in hospital that isn’t possible, and the nights in particular can be even more difficult.

That’s why I'm working with the St George's Hospital Chaplains to Help Light a Lamp at St George’s Hospital for patients.

I'm supporting St George's in providing 280 little electronic tealight candles, for the hospital, so that a light of love and hope can shine beside the patients throughout Christmas eve. Please will you support me in supporting the St George's Hospital Charity?

The little candles will be given out by chaplains and staff together with a Christmas message and blessing.

Your donation will go to the St George's Hospital Charity and the candles will be a gift from myself.

Staff from charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) will be praying for St George's on Christmas eve and you can join them by handing up a thought or prayer for patients and all those who care for them.

Your kindness means a lot and your donation to St George's Hospital Charity will go towards helping new born babies, patients young and elderly, those who are sick, those who have been injured, together with staff at St George's hospitals, receive even better treatment and care.
