Doddie's Grand Tour 2025 · 5 February 2025 to 8 February 2025 ·

Doddie’s Grand Tour 2025 is the latest edition of Rob Wainwright's annual charity rides for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. This Scottish route will see teams hurtling towards Edinburgh as they cover 700 miles in 4 days all to raise funds for MND.

Story

We are cycling around 800 miles over 5 days, to raise fund to find a cure for the cruel disease that is MND.

The route is the most convoluted from Dublin to Edinburgh via Glasgow, Ayr, GlenShee, Aberdeen, Dundee and Fife, culminating in a celebration in Edinburgh on Saturday 8th February, ahead of Scotland taking on Ireland at Murrayfield on the 9th.

Being more comfortable on my feet or in the sea, my cycling is not my strong point, in fact I have only cycled over 100 miles once and now we will be doing over 100 everyday and some days over 200 miles. This will push me well and truly beyond my comfort zone in a Scottish winter! Please donate what you can. Thank you!
