AJ Bell Great Manchester Run 10k 2025 · 18 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

One in two of us will receive a cancer diagnosis within our lifetimes. Many families lose loved ones to cancer. By supporting cancer research at Manchester, you are helping to bring us closer to a cure that will be lifechanging for us all.

Story

Angela and Ellie here! On Sunday 18 May, we will be running the Manchester 10k Purplewave to raise money for cancer research.

Cancer remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide, affecting millions of families, including our own. Therefore, we will be challenging ourselves in running the Purplewave 10k to support researchers in finding life-saving solutions to cancer.

All donations will go towards helping the university’s world-class cancer research centres, allowing for earlier detection, better therapies and treatment development.

We are incredibly grateful for your support. Every contribution, no matter how big or small is hugely appreciated and can make a real impact on people battling cancer.

Thank you!

Love,

Angela & Ellie xx
