Story
The Calmag Team are taking part in Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Worth Valley 2023 in memory of a greatly missed colleague Katie Cooper.
It has been 6 years since we lost Katie but she will be in our hearts and thoughts as we get glittered at the Glitter Station and embark on the 10K hike up and down dale around Haworth, Oakworth and Oxenhope with all our fellow hikers on the night in support of Manorlands our local hospice.
We would be very grateful for any support you can give and wish all fellow participants a great night with time to reflect on those we have loved and lost and the joy they brought into our lives.
Please read below why your support is so vital.
Sadly, almost all of us will experience the loss of a loved one - your support can help more people get the end-of-life and bereavement care they need and deserve.
- £25 could help fund an hour of expert care and help fill another family's final days with love
- £42 could go towards grief counselling sessions for people coming to terms with the loss of a loved one.
- £63 could go towards training a nurse to provide end-of-life care.
Sue Ryders specialist teams provide expert and compassionate care, which means the end of peoples lives can be filled with friendship, family and love in their final moments together.
