This year I have been persuade to join the bonkers bikers in their next wild adventure...LONDON TO BRUSSELS

It is going to be a fun filled three days with ten of us riding through three countries with a great support crew looking after us. Day one will see us ride from Waterloo to Harwich, then overnight on the ferry to Hook of Holland, before a sleep deprived ride on day two that will see us arrive in Antwerp. Finally, on day three we will head to Waterloo for a photo stop and then onto Brussels.

Riders this year are me, Darren ward, Martin Ward, Paul Williams, Steve Fisher, Anthony Miles, Michael Stokes, Chris Reid, Chris Rothwell and of course....the one and only Sam Alexander. Tam Giez, Sam Rayment and Gary Mullins-Downes will be our awesome support team, with vans and Team jerseys sponsored by West Midlands Trains for the third year running 👏👏👏 - but the first year for me.

As you all know, I've been on a bit journey myself. 4 and a half stone weight loss to now being a complete fitness junkie 🚲 🏃🏼‍♀️🏋️‍♂️ - running and weight lifting wasn't enough, so I started road cycling last year.

I started my fitness journey with running - A little too late in life to experience running with my dad who gave it up many years ago after aging & injuries. He then took to road cycling! Life is too short and it moves VERY fast. I did not want to miss the boat again, so I bought myself a secondhand bike on eBay and took very fearful plunge into cleats and Lycra!

Well, that was that, I was hooked ❤️🚲 safe to say it runs in my genes!
