Story

As many of you know, I’ve been training for the London Marathon 2024 since the New Year. After successfully getting a ballot place I'm intent on fulfilling my dream of completing this 26.2 mile challenge.

I am fundraising for a cause that is very close to my heart - Pendleside Hospice. My little sister Cheryl, was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastic cervical cancer a year ago. The hospice have been pivotal in supporting her and helping her maintain her independence as her mobility has reduced, whilst she fought pneumonia and her subsequent end of life care. In her final days at the hospice they followed her stubbornly independent wishes to the letter with dignity and kindness.

Pendleside Hospice provides invaluable care and support to individuals and families, who are facing life-limiting illnesses. Their dedicated team of healthcare professionals goes above and beyond to ensure that patients receive the physical, emotional, and spiritual support they need during their most challenging times.

As you can imagine, the demand for their services is ever-increasing, leaving Pendleside Hospice in desperate need of financial assistance. That's where we come in.

I am determined to make a difference by raising funds for this incredible organization. Every pound donated will go directly towards providing essential care and comfort to those who need it most in memory of Cheryl.

I humbly ask for your support in this endeavor. Your generous contribution will not only help me reach my fundraising target but also make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families, like ours, who have relied on Pendleside Hospice's services.

Together, we can bring hope and relief to those facing unimaginable challenges. Please donate today and join me in making a positive difference in memory of Cheryl.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Angela
