Story
St John’s Hospice has been a beacon of hope in our local community for over 38 years, providing vital services to patients and families during one of life’s most challenging journeys. Their mission is clear: to ensure that every individual receives the right care, in the right place, at the right time as they approach the end of life.
While their care is always free for those who need it, it comes at a significant cost. Running the hospice requires nearly £400 per hour, yet only about a third of this amount is covered by local NHS funding. The remaining two thirds must be raised through events, community donations, grants, and legacies.
This September 2025, I am joining with my daughter to "Jump for St John's"! Your support can make a tremendous difference in helping me reach my target of £400. I'm taking this leap to show our commitment to ensuring that no one faces their final journey alone.
