Fundraising for Anawim - Birmingham's Centre for Women
£460
raised of £500 target
We offer wraparound support to enable women to reach their potential.

Story

On Monday the 3rd of February I will be sleeping out for the night – at Anawim’s Centre in Balsall Heath - to raise awareness of the many issues around women’s housing.

It affects nearly every woman we see. There are problems with insecure housing, exempt HMOs, a rise in street homelessness and a local women’s only hostel becoming mixed sex. This is alongside the proportion of women being released from prison into homelessness rising, up now to 13%.

I’ll be joined by Lianne Kirkman from the Esther Project on one of her 10 nights sleeping rough.

Any money you can donate will go to supporting Anawim’s work with women in Birmingham and beyond. Thank you.
