Story

Nadine, Dan, Adrian, Alex and Rich Freeley are riding the Duchenne Dash from London to Paris in 24 hours. Please help us to add to the fantastic money that has been raised by The Dash over the last 12 years.

This year Rohaise and Katie are providing drinks and snacks as part of the wonderful support crew while Andrew (Andy of the angels) and Judith will be cheering on from afar.

Emily and Alex started this amazing, forward looking and ambitious charity after their sons were diagnosed with Duchenne. What has been achieved over the few years since is incredible but there is still much to do to stop this cruel disease.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a devastating muscle-wasting disease. It is the most common and severe form of muscular dystrophy. Diagnosed in childhood, it mainly affects boys. Started by families affected by the disease, Duchenne UK is the leading DMD charity in the UK: connecting the best researchers with industry, the NHS and families to advance and accelerate every stage of drug development. Together, we will end Duchenne.
