Story
In October 2021 our beautiful son, Jude (aged 7y), died suddenly and sadly from complications of his complex epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a cruel, debilitating and unpredictable disease that affects every single facet of life.
Living with epilepsy was a daily challenge for Jude. He did this with great determination, bravery and always with a beaming smile.
This year I'm running the London Marathon fro Young Epilepsy in memory of Jude. I know he'll be with me every step of the way.
Young Epilepsy coordinates and fund epilepsy research into the causes, diagnosis and treatment of the condition, and its impact on all aspects of life for children, young people and their families.
Together we can improve research, treatment and practical support for children and families living with epilepsy.
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.
Your fundraising truly matters:
⭐£25 could provide one hour of counselling with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a child cope with their anxiety and fears about their epilepsy.
⭐£50 could provide a therapy session for a group of six children or young people with epilepsy.
⭐£150 could provide epilepsy training for a teacher in a school supporting children with epilepsy.
⭐£500 could provide one day of expert advice to develop our e-learning program for teaching professionals, improving epilepsy awareness in schools.
Please give generously in the knowledge that by supporting Young Epilepsy you will be helping other children like Jude.
Thank you for your support.
