Story

Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. The horrifying events in Southport have sickened and shocked me to the core and I’m in absolute disbelief. I felt the need to do anything I could to contribute support in any tiny way I can.

I have been meaning to get running again for ages so I am challenging myself to a 10k Delamere Forest run on the 15th September. I have spent too much time at the table and not enough time on my feet so this will undoubtedly be slightly grim, but worth it. Alder Hey Children's Hospital is not only where my eldest daughter had her lifesaving Heart Surgery, it is also where some of the children affected by the events in Southport are being treated, and their families supported. It’s a special place, they do incredible work and it means an awful lot to me and my family, and families all over the North West and beyond.

If I raise £100 I will be over the moon, even £10. Every penny counts.

Thank you,

Andy
