Challenge to climb Kilimanjaro, 8 February 2023
We have merged with British Liver Trust to support all affected by liver disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 8th February 2023, I will be flying out to take part in an epic ten-day challenge to climb Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

The Cause

My business partners daughter (also my goddaughter) at the age of 19 has already been through the trauma of TWO full liver transplants. The first one as a baby and it only became available just in time and the second one in 2019 which hopefully with advances in research / development will be the last. She is now at university and leading a normal life. Having seen Lily and the family go through this nightmare twice, with the amazing support of The Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, this charity is close to the hearts of all at Noble Interiors and justifiably deserves all the support it can get, which will save the lives of many children present and future.

The Charity

Children’s Liver Disease Foundation

The facts:

• Every week 20 children in the UK are diagnosed with a life-threatening childhood liver disease

• More children in the UK are currently diagnosed with a liver disease than childhood leukaemia

• There are over 100 different liver diseases that can affect babies, children or young people

• For most childhood liver diseases, the cause is unknown

• Liver disease has no cure

The Children’s Liver Disease Foundation Provide:

• A comprehensive information hub on childhood liver disease for healthcare professionals and for families

• A tailored support service for children, young people and young adults with liver disease and their families
