Duchenne Dash 2025 · 16 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
It was 10 years ago that my very good friend Ali Robertson discovered his young son Felix had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Felix is now 13 and relies on a wheelchair for his mobility. But the huge effort to research a treatment and cure continues, critically funded through events like the Duchenne Dash.
We first rode the Duchenne Dash with Ali in 2015 and have since ridden the length of the UK and France 4 times on the DashMAX raising close to £1M over the 10 year period.
This year my son Angus and I are riding the 300km to Paris in 24 hours, and Angus will then compete in his first triathlon, the iconic Alpe d’Huez triathlon for Duchenne UK. We are very grateful for your support and all funds raised are hugely valuable for Duchenne UK in funding the search for a cure. Through their funding, hope remains for Duchenne families fighting for their sons lives, pursuing drug development trials and gene therapy to find a cure for this fatal disease, together with therapeutic treatments to assist quality of life.
All money raised from the Duchenne Dash funds vital research and accelerates the development of treatments for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a devastating muscle-wasting disease diagnosed in childhood.
Please donate and together, we will end Duchenne!
Thank you
Andy and Angus
