We raise funds for PGA Members to support them in times of hardship

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I am Captain of the Midland Region PGA and am undertaking some personal challenges to raise money for The PGA Benevolent Fund.

Over the last 20 years, I have lost numerous golf professional friends who have received help from the fund and this is my way of giving something back.

I recently ran Smash Sherwood 10K in a time of just over an hour. I was set for a sub-hour finish time, however a tree root had other ideas and after a brief fall, dusting off and drink, I was on my way again!

This challenge will see me cycle 90 miles from Chesterfield to Bridlington. I'm hoping to complete this in around 6 hours of cycling time, so wish me luck!

Your donation, however small will be gratefully received by the fund and help future golf professionals should they find themselves in hardship or distress.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
