I plan to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge in July 2023 to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK.
I will be completing the challenge with 27 other colleagues from HSO as part of a big team effort! We each have individual targets to raise £250 and HSO will generously match any funds - doubling anything you kindly donate!! So please give what you can.
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon). The total walking distance is 23 miles with a total ascent of 10,052ft (3,064 metres) and the total driving distance is 462 miles. It's tiring both physically and mentally.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure. Backed by passionate scientists and supporters, Alzheimer's Research UK is challenging the way people think about dementia, uniting the big thinkers in the field and funding the innovative science that will deliver a cure.
Our vision is a world where people are free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.
