Andrew Wellbeloved was a lovely man, who gave much of his life to support young people, both in education, as a Head Teacher for 30 years, and in the voluntary sector, through his work with Scouts in a huge variety of roles in the UK.

He finally retired from his role as Head Teacher of Townsend Church of England school in 2023, looking forward to a long and happy retirement with Fiona, with lots of exciting adventures planned.

Sadly, this was not to be, and after a brutally short illness, Andrew sadly died at the end of April.

In Andrew’s memory, we are raising funds for Cancer Research UK. It’s too late to help him, but it may help others, which is what he would want.
