This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings - the largest seaborne invasion in history. It led to the liberation of France and its success marked the beginning of the end of the war in Western Europe.

Starting at Sainte-Mere-Eglise we’ll cycle through Normandy, visiting the D-Day beaches, including Omaha, Gold and Juno remembering the thousands who served in this astonishing operation. We will also visit other key historical areas including Bayeux, Lisieux, Bernay and many more before ending in Paris.

The Big Battlefield Bike Ride is now in its 16th year and this year's ride to coincide with such an important D-Day anniversary promises to be particularly special.
