We educate about mental fitness & stigma to prevent suicide in communities

Story

State of Mind Halton Half Marathon and 10k runners are completing a 40/120 challenge to raise funds for to continue to deliver mental fitness sessions in sports clubs, colleges, universities and businesses. Our aim is to try to prevent the next person who wants to take their own life to consider another way forward!!

Team members Andy, Claire B, Anne-Marie, Owen, Clair C, Angela, Luke, Hannah, Liam, Garry G, Ste, Emma, Jon Ba, Gary C, Jon Br, Patrick, Laura, Glenn, Ben, Martin, Adam, Nicole, Kevin, Grace, Karen, Phil, Helen, Mark, Andrew, Cath, Paul, Ian, Tara, Abi, Andrew, Tofe, Rob, Callan, Ana

Around the world (2020) one person every 40 seconds took their own life and that would mean 120 people would die from suicide during every 80 minute rugby match. That's what the 40/120 challenge is all about so every runner will be aiming to raise £40-£120 (or more) by completing the Jubilee Bridge Half Marathon or 10k
