We want to help improve the mental health of our community by offering subsidised counselling. Families, couples, individuals, children & young people. RWS knows families go through immense struggles & pressures, suffering with the cost of living.

Story

The forerunner of Relate West Surrey was formed by a clergyman, Dr Herbert Gray, in 1943. The charity was originally established as the Marriage Guidance Council but relaunched as Relate West Surrey on Valentine’s Day in 1988 in recognition of our wider relationship work with single people, cohabiting couples, same sex couples, children and young people and families. Relate is now the UK's largest provider of relationship support and last year we helped over two million people to strengthen their relationships.
