Project 500 is a movement to raise £500,000 for Mind Over Mountains, to significantly grow our charity so we can support more people with their mental health across the UK, through therapeutic outdoor experiences.

Story

Mind Over Mountains is an ambitious and innovative mental health charity that enables people to thrive through therapeutic outdoor experiences.

They help individuals to restore and sustain their mental health and wellbeing through a highly integrated practice that combines walking in nature, mindfulness, and professional coaching and counselling. Their approach is designed to foster resilience and promote healing in a supportive environment.

This year, I am excited to announce my participation in the "Lakes in a Day" event, an ultra marathon covering 50 miles and 4000m of ascent from north to south down the spine of the Lake District on October 11, 2025.

This challenge not only tests my physical limits but also raises vital funds for our cause.

My target is to raise £2,500 to continue providing these essential services. With your support, we can move mountains for those struggling with mental health challenges. Every contribution counts and helps us create more opportunities for individuals to experience the transformative power of nature.
