Story
On the 11th May this year I will be taking part in the CARTEN100 cycling event which is a 100-mile ride from Cardiff to Tenby. Aside from the physical (and mental!) challenge of completing the event, I want to raise as much money as I can for a very special Charity.
Shooting Stars Children's Hospices provide specialist care and support for around 500 babies, children and young adults who have a life-limiting condition and their families, as well as around 200 bereaved families. The nursing and medical care plus the practical and emotional support they provide is done so free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However it costs around £10 million a year to run Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, so they rely on the generosity of their supporters to keep our services going.
