Story

I've created this page to promote and support a 100-mile cycle ride raising funds equally for the MCF 2027 Festival & The Rowans Hospice.

In August 2023, I bid farewell to my friend Lee, who surrendered to an aggressive cancer which he’d bravely fought for over a year.

The Rowans Hospice accommodated all of Lee’s wishes and the well-being of Lee’s family. They provided resources and comfort until the end, within Lee’s home, just as he’d wished.

The Rowans continue to support Lee's family, positively affecting their lives amidst such traumatic change. I knew nothing of the extent of the outreach and breadth of care that The Rowans can afford a family in their most intimate and vulnerable time.

As a proud Freemason, I'm also inspired to raise money for the Masonic Charitable Foundation well, knowing the staggering value of support residing in the heart of our communities, arising directly from Freemasonry's dependable but modest care.

If you can, please contribute to these charities using the 'Donate' button. The more people that know about this cause the better, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
