Story
In January 2019 my life changed in more ways than one. I moved to Seeboden in Austria to be with my wife Sonja. Unfortunately in the same month I was diagnosed with a serious pneumonia, It literally floored me! The recovery was slow and I now know it was the trigger that started my unwanted Fibromyalgia.
Last year in June my daughter and her boyfriend, my youngest son and two close friends completed the 32.5 mile Isle of Man Parish Walk from Douglas to Peel.
This year we have a team participating again.
Our aim is also to walk to Peel (32.5 miles) which would be a massive achievement 🙏💪🇮🇲
Thank you very much for your donation. It really means a lot to us and to Fibromyalgia Action UK.
Fibromyalgia is a recognised chronic condition of widespread pain and profound fatigue. The pain tends to be felt as diffuse aching or burning, often described as head to toe. It can be worse at some times than at others and may also change location, usually becoming more severe in parts of the body that are used most.
My symptoms also include unrefreshed sleep, headaches / migraines, irritable bowel, cognitive disturbances, clumsiness, dizziness / brain fog and sensitivity to light and environmental changes.
