A brave group of people from SDL Minorfern are tackling the Tough Mudder on the 7th of July 2024 in support of Fairplay and Babbington Dog Rescue via the Minorfern Foundation (working alongside Matthew Good Foundation).

Story

I am tackling the Touch Mudder on 7th July in support of Fairpllay and Babbington Dog rescue via the Minorfern Foundation (alongside Matthew Good Foundation).

The Tough Mudder challenge is a messy, muddy, and intense 10+ mile run with over 20 obstacles such as low crawls under barbed wire through mud and a slide down into a 6’ deep mud pit, with a climb up a sheer wall of mud to get out!!!

Working alongside the Matthew Good Foundation, SDL Minorfern have set up the Minorfern Foundation with the goal of donating £40,000 annually to a selection of chosen, small regional charities. For this challenge they will be supporting Fairplay - who support children and young people with disabilities, as well as their families across North Derbyshire and Babbington Dog Rescue who have been catering for stray and abandoned dogs since 1993 and have found homes for nearly 10,000 dogs!

We're all underway with training for the big day so anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated!
