Hi everyone!

I am running the 2024 London Marathon this April for Wooden Spoon, -https://woodenspoon.org.uk/ - which is the children’s charity of rugby, funding life-changing projects across the UK and Ireland to support children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage.

I have been a member of Wooden Spoon since I was a teenager, thanks to being introduced by my late Dad who was involved with this amazing charity for many years and raised thousands of pounds. Unfortunately, I lost Dad a couple of years ago, so it is hugely important to me that we carry on with the work he did with them.

In 2023 alone, Wooden Spoon supported 124 projects and donated over £1.1 million in grants supporting children.

One recent Wooden Spoon project provided a £13,000 grant for an Immersive Interactive Sensory Space and Outdoor Sensory Garden which will help encourage the children to build developmental skills, as well as developing gross and fine motor skills.

Any donation is welcome, as well as any effort to raise awareness about this amazing charity that helps so many children living with disabilities, disadvantaged or disenfranchised.
