Story
Join us for a Mindful Walk in the Peak District, with Sangha friends, whilst raising funds for the proposed Being Peace Practice Centre.
We will walk on Saturday 11th November starting at 11:00 from Bamford train station in the Hope Valley S33 0BN. This timing should enable you to travel by train from Sheffield or Manchester directions or connect to these trains.
Choose from two walks on the day:
A low and flattish walk near Ladybower reservoir, at a length decided by the group.
Or a hilly and high walk, 5-6 miles long.
The event is free. Please book your place on the walk on our Eventbrite link. If you haven't been given the Eventbrite link, please contact Andrea to receive it: anostim@gmail.com
Alternatively, if you aren’t able to join us on the walk but would like to support our fund raising for the BPPC then we would be delighted if you could offer dana through our Plum Village UK’s Just Giving page here.
We’ll send more details of the walk, including parking, a few days beforehand to friends who have signed up on Eventbrite.
With love and appreciation

And a few details about The Being peace Practice Centre:
The proposed Centre will be a place of refuge, located in the countryside with good transport links and surrounded by nature. It will offer accommodation, camping, a meditation hall, and other indoor and outdoor spaces for retreats and mindful living.
With a year-round program of retreats, courses, and quiet space to experience mindfulness together, the Being Peace Practice Centre will be the first UK lay Plum Village centre managed by a lay community.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your contribution will go directly to Plum Village UK and help make the Being Peace Practice Centre a reality.
