Story
At Quilter Cheviot we are proud to support the Sanctuary Trust and Kevin Speake, Bethany Moisan and myself will be taking part in the Sleep Out for Sanctuary on Friday 17th November.
Sanctuary Trust was established in 2011 to provide accommodation to men in crisis. Since the opening in 2011, the charity has expanded, and we now offer accommodation to up to 30 men across three properties. The original founders, a group of committed Christians and concerned parishioners in St. Brelade, were troubled by the lack of anywhere in the island that could be identified as a sanctuary for men facing major crises in their lives. The founders wanted to help those whose problems were more than just homelessness, and this remains true today. We rely solely on grants, donations from donors and the public.
Just £7 could help fund for one resident to register to a local Dr.
£40 would feed one resident for one month at our entry house, Sanctuary Lodge.
At a time when everybody is feeling the pinch, even the smallest donation makes a huge difference to charities like Sanctuary Trust.
