The Big Walk 2024 · 28 June 2024 ·

The Big Walk 2024 is back and better than ever! Returning on Friday 28 June, walkers will be fundraising to improve the lives of MND patients long into the future.

Story

In 2018 I took part in the Sheffield Half-marathon and the Big Walk for the Sheffield Scanner appeal.

This year I will be participating in The Big Walk 2024 (33 Kms), a fundraising event dedicated to supporting Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Research at the University of Sheffield. The event will take place on Friday, June 28, 2024.

Motor Neurone Disease is a devastating condition that affects the brain and nerves, and sadly, there is currently no cure.

Every day in the UK, MND claims the lives of six people, with a third of those diagnosed losing their lives within just one year.

By supporting my fundraising efforts, you can help make a much-needed breakthrough in MND research come sooner at the University of Sheffield, a research that gives hope to so many people.

Thank you for supporting me and the Motor Neurone Disease Research at the University of Sheffield.
