Story
Those who know me will know that running is not ‘my thing’. I’ve forever been the ‘cheerleader’, event organiser and chief ‘bag holder’ for friends taking part in running and fitness challenges, but this year I’ve decided to challenge myself.
12 months ago I met Shaun and Lauren Adams, an amazing couple, who faced 79 days in neonatal care when their twins were born prematurely. This experience encouraged them to create the annual Seventy Nine Day challenge in support of other families going through the rollercoaster of NICU.
I know many people who’ve benefitted from the incredible support of Spoons charity, so I'm joining the annual Seventy Nine Day Challenge this year! From 30th November I’ll commit to 79 consecutive days of activity, I’ll try most days for this to be a run, including Christmas Day!
Please donate a small amount if you can, or join #Team79, the more the merrier!

Run, walk, wheel, skate, lift your way to 79 days of activity.
Together with #Team79 I'm taking on a minimum of 20 minutes, every day, for 79 days, raising money to help families experiencing neonatal care.
