Memory Walk 2024
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will feel it all and walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be providing help and hope to everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

As most of you know my beautiful strong amazing Grandad was diagnosed with Dementia a few years ago. He’s more like my dad than Grandad and always has been, it has devastated our family.

You don’t realise how bad dementia is until you live through it and it’s the most heartbreaking illness I’ve ever witnessed.

Imagining a world without my gramps isn’t imaginable and we are watching him slowly fade before our eyes it really is something else.

On October 12th I will be kicking off my 30’s by taking part in the 6 Mile walk round Wollaton Park to raise money.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
