Story

#MovingMountainsforMentalHealth

Suicide Prevention UK was established in 2018, with the aim to support those struggling with their mental health and/or thoughts of suicide.

We are a very pro-active charity with teams of volunteers who regularly patrol high risk locations, reaching out to any individuals in crisis who may be at risk of ending their lives. Giving them the care and compassion they deserve. Our Crisis Call Handlers are on hand every single day of the year, taking calls from across the UK to support anyone who may need.

Our charity are extremely passionate about doing all we can to prevent suicide. September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day. This day is about raising awareness across the world. Our selfless volunteers wish to mark this day with their own incredible challenge, raising as much awareness as possible, and using all their strength, passion and determination to let people know that they are not alone, and there is support available.
