MY Hospitals Charity is aiming to raise £1.25m towards a new Radiology suite in Pinderfields, including a state-of-the-art 3.0 Tesla MRI scanner. One major benefit of this is for children - Currently, a child in Wakefield, Dewsbury or Pontefract who needs an MRI has to go to Leeds or Sheffield due to the lack of recovery facilities (children usually need a general anaesthetic for MRI), in Radiology at the Trust's hospitals. The new suite will mean a child can receive the urgent diagnostic care they need faster, and locally.

The £6m project has just £750,000 left to raise so please give what you can to make this game-changing medical facility happen.
