Story

I am taking on Snowdon by Sunrise for Samaritans to help make sure there’s someone there for anyone who needs someone. Whatever the amount, your donation means a lot to me and could answer the call for help that saves someone’s life.

I will be hiking up Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon, 1,085m) with only a torch and the moon to light the way. I am pretty scared of the dark, so this will be an adventure to say the least!

Samaritans is our chosen company charity for 2024. I am the charity lead and am hoping that this event will help to raise awareness of all of the great work and support provided by Samaritans and help raise some crucial funds to help those in need.

Thank you💚

--------

Every ten seconds, Samaritans answer a call for help. We’re here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. Samaritans is not only for the moment of crisis, we’re taking action to prevent the crisis. We give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others.

Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, and Samaritans’ vision is that fewer people die by suicide. That’s why we work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.
