Story
Our Ward 20 Fallen Angels
I am setting up a fund raiser to request any kind donation from friends and loved ones to raise some funds to be able to have a memory bench for our Well Being Garden at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary in memory of our dearly loved but not forgotten colleagues and friends Jean and Grace.
Jean was such a loved member of our team on ward 20. Jean was an Engagement Support Worker, she was such a kind soul with such a zest for life! Jean cared for all our patients as though they were her own family- she regularly went above and beyond with all the little things she'd do for patients and staff. Jean cared about everyone and would do anything for anyone in need of help or support.
Grace was a little ray of sun light who would put a smile on the face of both patients and staff and was well loved by all her colleagues. Grace was a kind and caring soul who patients loved. Grace has left behind her 3 children and husband. Grace's grave is not in the UK therefore not only would it be lovely for our staff to sit and remember Grace, it would be amazing for her children and husband to be able remember her too.
We would appreciate any donation however big or small, it would be so lovely for our staff to be able to take some time out in the Well Being garden when needed and sit on a bench remembering such loved souls.
