Amy: I am running the 2024 London Marathon for Parkinson's UK. I am fundraising for Parkinson's as its a charity close to my family's heart. Parkinson's UK does great work for those living with the condition and their relatives. Not only do they help fund research but also find ways to improve the well-being of those with the condition. Prior to training for the Marathon, my longest ever run was a half marathon in 2018... not understanding how people do double that!!!!! This will be quite the challenge but worth it for an amazing cause.

Parkinsons can affect anyone and in the UK, around 145,000 people are currently living with the condition. Parkinsons gets worse over time and there is currently no cure but thanks to the work of the charity, we are moving closer to major breakthroughs by funding the right research into the most promising treatments.
