When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

Our story: -

On 27th October 2023, we were told our daughter ivy-Rose has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia,

Ivy-Rose was being treated in Gloucester Hospital first with RSV and the flu and with a diagnosis of leukemia to then be transferred via ambulance to Bristol Children’s Hospital to then having confirmed diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, so her Intense induction Chemotherapy treatment will begin from here to then be moved on to the next 2 cycles of another chemotherapy drug Blinatumomab, to then be in delayed intensification for upto 2 months in hospital to then go on to maintenance stage so long time ahead still, lots of time away from home, family and friends which we are missing them all so much,

We are soooo grateful to Young Lives vs Cancer for providing us with a home from home apartment as we would be lost with this amazing charity, so we would like to give something back to show how much we appreciate them for all the help and support they have given us.
