Story
After a few vinos one night, myself and my equally crazy friend Ang decided it would be a good idea to throw ourselves out of a plane. On sobering up I realised this was not necessarily one of my brightest moments. However, if me doing this can raise some money for the wonderful charity that is St Catherines Hospice, who have cared for two of my very good friends recently, then that idea now has some meaning.
St Catherine's provides palliative and end-of-life care and support for the people of Central Lancashire, through our specialised services at the hospice and in people’s own homes. We're here to help people facing life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure to enjoy the best possible quality of life to the end of life. It costs more than £5m to run our charity every single year. We rely on the amazing efforts and wonderful generosity of supporters like you to help us raise the funds we need. Thank you!
