Amy’s Lent Fast for Syria- 2023
In Central Syria, the situation is as bad as in Turkey. And yet there is no news coverage and little help. Homa countryside, Aleppo City, huge damage. One little town in Latakia, named Jableh, has been virtually wiped off the map. People need help.

Story

This Lent I am raising money for Syrian earthquake victims. I am fasting during lent by eating one meal a day and donating the remaining food budget towards victims of the Syrian earthquake. Follow my journey here and if you feel inspired to join me too you’re welcome.

Why?

Syria's people have suffered years of sanctions. But Syria, mainstream Syria, not just Idlib, has been devastated by the same earthquake that has hit everywhere in the region. Particularly Alleppo, Homma countryside, and Latakia, all are devastated and desperately need help.
