We are challenging people to take on one of our new bespoke trekking challenges across the UK. Take on our 25km Dartmoor challenge while raising vital funds for the Armed Forces Community.

Story

To support the charity I now work for, I'll be undertaking a hike across the wilds of Dartmoor on the 14th September this year, with my colleagues/team. A 25km route complete with hills, fords, tors, woodland and rivers to navigate - we are anticipating the hike taking a total of 7-9 hours.

Help for Heroes is dedicated to providing life changing support to veterans and their families for as long as they need it. Life for veterans can be very challenging; through our supporters, we help veterans and the families to recover from their physical and psychological wounds so they can live well after service. Many of the veterans we serve have complex conditions and will need support for the rest of their lives.

Your generosity could be life-saving. Your gift could help someone to walk again or help a veteran grow in confidence by participating in sports again. It could provide mental health support or help combat isolation by connecting communities. You could provide vital treatment, professional help and equipment.
