In 2022, my beautiful, strong, brave and fiercly courageous mother lost her battle with cancer. Fiercely brave until the bitter end, Mum put up one hell of a fight and I will always remember and be in admiration of how strong a woman she truly was.

This year and next year I am challenging myself to raise funds for Macmillan, who were such a great help to our family in Mums final months. I’ll be taking part in the following events;

- Running 29 miles in February ✔️

- Sunderland 10k in May ✔️

- Hartlepool 10k in June ✔️

- Great North 10k in July ✔️

- South Shields 10 mile ✔️

- Great North Run ✔️
