Amy is Sleeping Out at Lord's for the Gandon-Prodger Legacy Fund
Fundraising for Club Cricket Organisation
Fundraising for Club Cricket Organisation
On the 27th February 2025, I'll be sleeping out at the Home of Cricket, Lord's Cricket Ground - or as it is unofficially known, my Dad (Nick Gandon)'s second home!
This is for a cause very close to my heart which continues the legacies of two great cricketing nuts - my Dad and his close friend Simon Prodger.
The money raised from this campaign will go towards the Gandon Prodger Legacy Fund, supporting some fantastic charities tackling the issue of homelessness and addressing other important challenges in the local community.
Funds raised will ensure each of the four beneficiary charities of the Fund – The East Africa Character Development Trust, The Alsama Project, The Saracens Foundation and The Club Cricket Charity – can use the transformative power of sport to change the lives of those both in the UK and abroad.
The impact will be profound. It will allow us to support projects to
- ensure refugees who have fled persecution in Afghanistan, are able to play cricket in the UK;
- transform the lives of disadvantaged young Africans through sport and education; and
- help young refugees in Lebanon gain the skills they need to thrive both on and off the cricket field.
Thank you for anything you can spare. Also don't forget the gift aid!
