Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause. On the 12th April 2022 we lost George after a courageous 11th month battle at just the age of 13 to a glioblastoma and it broke our family, this is something that family’s shouldn’t have to go through and that it why I will be running with Brain Tumour Research. To be able to not only run for this amazing charity but do it on George’s 4 year anniversary of his passing really feels like a sign🥺

George’s strength and spirit continue to inspire everyone who knew him it’s in his honour that we are running to support Brain Tumour Research, a charity dedicated to funding vital studies and driving forward the breakthroughs that are so urgently needed.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer, yet research into them remains seriously underfunded. Every single donation big or small goes directly to the charity, helping to fund life-saving research and giving hope to families now and in the future.

If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. Your support not only honours George’s memory but also helps bring us closer to better treatments, better outcomes, and one day—a cure.

Thank you for standing with us, for remembering George, and for supporting such an important cause
