Story

Jake met the twins Harvey and Spencer in reception class at primary school. He always had stories about how cheeky the boys were, and how much he enjoyed being with them in school.

It was devastating when Harvey became poorly, and we watched him and his family go through the worst thing a family can go through, the loss of a child and brother.

The Harvey Hext Trust was set up by Sarah to support other families experiencing what Harvey’s brother and sister had gone through. Through the charity, bereaved siblings receive a memory box where they can keep precious items from their brother or sister, helping them in their grieving process.

There’s more details below about the charity, and I couldn’t be more proud to raise money and awareness for them. Thanks for supporting me x

The Harvey Hext Trust is a national charity that was originally created to help bereaved Children keep alive their precious, loving memories of their lost brothers and sisters by supplying special bespoke, personalised, durable wooden Memory Boxes and beautiful Memory Bears as a legacy to their lives.

We are now also finding that we are receiving referrals from professionals for bereaved Children who are now turning to our Memory Boxes and Memory Bears, to help them come to terms with the loss of a Parent and to cope with the grief that brings.

The charity also provides hospitals and hospices with Harvey's Holdalls, these bags are given to parents to transport precious belongings home when their child has died.

We rely solely on your generosity to create these unique gifts that support bereaved families.
