Amelia’s teacher ran the London marathon which inspired her to want to do a run herself. She has been learning about the rainforest at school. She has always since a very young age wanted to do her bit to help our planet.

Rainforests store billions of tonnes of carbon, protecting our planet from the impacts of climate change. They also provide vital habitat for half the world's species, many of which are endangered. However, they are being cut down at a rate of 70,000 acres a day.

The money raised will go to the Rainforest Climate Action Fund, supporting projects which cost-effectively store and sequester vast quantities of carbon. Raising money for this fund may be the most efficient way to fight climate change, so please donate if you can.
