Amelia's fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Walk · 31 August 2023
In June 2021, my beloved father was diagnosed with Motor Neurone. It was completely devastating news and something we are all still very much coming to terms with.
I have decided to do something proactive to help fight MND so am setting out to raise as much money as I can for the Motor Neurone Disease Association which does so much to support not only the patients but also their families.
Daddy has always loved walking, the sea and wonderful views so I have chosen to walk the Jurassic Coast. It was something we had hoped to do together but unfortunately the very cool bright red mobility scooter now says otherwise!
It is no walk in the park, the 78 miles up and down this beautiful wild coast will take me 6 days and will be pretty gruelling but nothing like the challenges faced every day by MND sufferers.
It would really mean the world to me if you could make even the smallest of donations as it will help other families affected by this ghastly disease - every penny will make a difference as the costs of my walk are generously being covered.
I have decided to split the donations which will go towards both MNDA South Wilts and towards Research Projects
All my love and thank you in advance
xxxx Amelia/Mops
