Story

Hello everyone! I am excited to say I am running the London Marathon 2025 for Bowel Cancer UK!

Last year my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer which came as a huge shock to me and my family. Unfortunately, stage 4 means it is incurable. My dads journey has involved endless hospital visits, operations and rounds of chemotherapy. Watching a family member with cancer is extremely difficult and I cant really put into words how sad it is.

I am sure most of you know how great my dad is and how much this means to him that I am running the marathon!

I have decided to run the London Marathon 2025 and raise money for Bowel Cancer UK which can support with research, support for patients and stop people dying. Every 15 minutes someone is diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. This just shows how important it is that a cure it found so we can save lives.

I will be uploading pictures along the way on here so everyone can track my journey if they wish to! Any donations would be really appreciated and I am so grateful for every donation!

Love, Amelia xxx
