Paws for Pregnancy Loss 2025

Paws for Pregnancy Loss 2025 · 16 February 2025 to 30 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
I’m taking part in Paws For Pregnancy Loss – walking 100km in March to fundraise for the Miscarriage Association.
I’m proud to be walking alongside others across the UK, raising awareness of the vital support services the charity offers, and raising funds to ensure they can be there for those who need them most.
Every donation helps the Miscarriage Association support people going through the heartbreak of pregnancy loss.
Thank you for your support, and giving paws a purpose.
Our story:
Hi we are Amber and Adam and we lost our baby at 12 weeks.
On Monday 20th January at what should have been 13 weeks that day we were told our baby’s heart had stopped beating. Measuring at just 5.5cm our little baby was dated as 12 weeks.
It all becomes a blur after you hear those words and it doesn’t set you up for what is to come.
Fortunately for us we have a strong support network around us but it has been so helpful and informative to have the Miscarriage Association easily accessible. It’s comforting to read other people’s stories and know that you are not alone but also to read about what to expect regarding your own body.
It has truly been the worst thing to have ever have happened to us, not only through medical complications and physical pain but the mental side of things has been tough.
We’re not people who are marathon runners and we wanted to be able to help support this amazing organisation in a way suitable for us.
We both work full time so time is limited but we always give time to our first baby, our four legged one. So we are making the most of the beautiful walks and scenery around us by walking 100km in march.
We are doing this for ourselves as something to keep our minds occupied and something to push for each day, but any money raised we know will be going to an amazing cause of helping other families in these truly rubbish times. Not only does the organisation help people who have had a miscarriage but if offers information for those people supporting you whether that’s friends and family or in the workplace.
